From Empty Backyard to Family Favorite.

When you don't have a pool in the backyard, you don't really feel like going outside.

Hi, I'm Jimmy. I got a Modul Pool here. I chose the 10x20 with the aqua blue interior and the lightest tile on the outside.

The yard was pretty much the way it is now. It was all natural sod, and I was just missing a pool. It gets hot here in Yorba Linda, especially during the summer, so I knew I wanted to add one. My vision was to keep it on one side of the yard and have it perfectly centered with the big window at the back of the house.

Before, I didn't really use the backyard much. Now that I have a pool, my windows are always open and we're always out here. Actually, we're always in the pool.

One of the biggest reasons I wanted a pool is because I have three kids, and now this is the house where they all come to hang out. I'd much rather have them here than somewhere else. On my days off, it honestly feels like I'm staying at a hotel.

Lochlin came out and measured everything. I told him what I had in mind and talked through some ideas for future additions to the backyard. We dropped the pool into the design, played around with it, tried about five different sizes, and moved it to two or three different locations before landing on exactly what we wanted.

When construction started, they showed up, dug the entire pool, cleaned everything up, and were gone by about 2:30 that afternoon. I couldn't believe it. The excavation was done in one day.

I've built a lot of things and worked with plenty of contractors before. The biggest concern is always change orders. You sign a contract for a $65,000 project, and suddenly it turns into over $100,000. That didn't happen here. The price stayed exactly what it was. They were efficient, and everything they said they were going to do, they did.

We had a few delays with permitting and some misunderstandings with the city, but they handled everything. I never had to go down there, check on anything, or get involved. They were professional, worked well with the city, and got everything resolved.

I recently had my daughter's high school graduation party here. We had about 75 people in the backyard, and the pool was obviously the focal point. All the chairs, tables, and everything centered around it. It just brings a great atmosphere to the backyard.

What you see on the website and in the app is exactly what you get. Everything happens just like they say it will. They don't subcontract the work. Everything is handled in-house, so their team is always available and everything moves quickly. Before you know it, it's done in five or six weeks.

Believe it or not, for a pool this size, they made the entire process look really easy.
